Rata Blanca, para quem não conhece é uma banda dos nossos vizinhos da Argentina, que conta com um grande guitarrista (Walter Giardino), com uma grande, mas grande, semelhança com Richie Blackmore.

O próprio Glenn Hughes , que participou de um trabalho da banda, acabou definindo este guitarrista como “o clone mais bem acabado de Richie Blackmore”.

Com todo este potencial Giardino e sua “trupe”, não alcançou grande sucesso fora da América Latina, já que a maioria dos seus trabalhos são cantados em espanhol, percebendo isso, foi feito uma tentativa no EP “Highway on Fire” de cantar em inglês.

Com a evidente dificuldade de pronunciar o idioma pelo atual vocalista “Adrián Barilari”, Giardino resolveu chamar para essa nova empreitada, um vocalista conhecido por todos e que já tinha trabalhado com sua grande inspiração Richie Blackmore. Este vocalista só poderia ser Doogie White, lembrado que o “Adrián Barilari”, não foi dispensado, Doogie fez somente este trabalho, mas quem sabe...

Com tudo que falamos, da para todos ter uma idéia do que podem esperar neste CD, Rainbow puro!!

Fica difícil destacar alguma das músicas, já que também sou muito fã de Blackmore, e quando ouvi este trabalho, me bateu uma saudade de ouvir o grande mestre, tocando Rock and Roll.

Mas, vale prestar atenção na rifferama de “Guardian of the light” a balada “Another Day Passing By” a instrumental “Instruments”, fechando com chave de ouro "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow".
